The highest motive is to be like water: water is essential to all life, yet it does not demand a fee or proclaim its importance. Rather, it flows humbly to the lowest level, and in so doing it is much like Tao. (8)
Nothing in the world is weaker or more yielding than water; yet nothing is its equal in wearing away the hard and the strong. There is nothing quite like it.
Thus, the weak can overpower the strong; the flexible can overcome the rigid. The whole world can perceive this, but does not put it into practice. (78)

Excellent John..didn't realize there were waterfalls in California :)
There are waterfalls all over the place in California. It's a wonderfully, beautiful place. So much natural diversity, as this picture clearly depicts.

Great shot John, always wondered what it would be like to go under a waterfall, obviously not one that big...lol...must be quite refreshing. Thanks for the visit :)
Waterfall always mesmerizes me... made me feel like going there and stand under it - just like the good old days... o well, I sound old... LOL Childhood is the best times, me thinks.
Had to click on the picture and take a closer look ~ this is a beautiful place and your music couldn't fit the mood any better!!!!! If my todo list didn't beckon I would spend the day here (and be so happy and content!!) Sure that there must be a place to sit and put your toes in the water down by the pool and listen to the wonderful sounds of nature (including the roar of the water!)
Beautiful shot! I love waterfalls, I have yet to see one at such a grand scale in person. Although this summer we hope to scratch that one off the list.
Oh I loved this post! The picture is breathtaking; the poem is supreme -water is essential to all life- The music is perfect! Thanks a lot for sharing ;) Thank you very much for your words in my place ;)))
Lovely photo John. I find water captivating, probably because I don't see it nearly enough but I think I love the sound of water even more! Those are beautiful falls! :-)
Awesome is right. I love waterfalls...this is gorgeous. Now tell me how you get one of those "little" Imeem players? How is the padded cell these days??
